Data privacy

The personal right to informal self-determination is protected by legal regulations – e.g. the Tele Services Data Protection Act (Teledienstdatenschutzgesetz), the State Treaty on Media Services (Mediendienste-Staatsvertrag) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz) – by the legislator. Naturally, our website corresponds to the statutory data protection regulations. However, in certain areas, we go beyond these regulations due to our special obligation.

You can use our website anonymously.
The areas in which personal data is collected are clearly indicated or will ask you to grant consent.
You decide what personal data we obtain.
The employees of DF Deutsche Finance Holding AG, its subsidiaries and its contractually affiliated companies are obliged to maintain confidentiality.
Data protection is verified and ensured within the company by a data protection officer – who has the corresponding rights and responsibilities.
You naturally have the right to information about the data saved by us about you.
If there is no legal obligation to transfer data, we only pass your data on to third parties outside DF Deutsche Finance Holding AG following explicit instructions from you or due to the contractual agreements with you.

Protected areas
Some of our pages are not accessible to the general public. In these areas, investors and partners obtain separate information according to their contractual agreement and are subject to extended data protection agreements.

Sharing of information with third parties
DF Deutsche Finance Holding AG and its subsidiaries will not make your personal data, which you send to us via the Internet, available for third parties outside of DF Deutsche Finance Holding AG and its contractual partners to use where no statutory obligation to do so exists. This is the case unless you have expressly requested that the information be shared, such as within a consultation regarding an investment product.

Usage data

If you visit our website or use our services, the device you use and the Internet browser with which you access our website automatically send log data to our server. This log data comprises, in particular, the name of the accessed file (website), the transferred quantity of data, the type and version of the web browser used, the operating system used (type and version), the date and type of accessing the page, the referrer URL (website from which you reached our website via a link) and the IP address of the requesting computer. The IP address is exclusively saved in an abbreviated (anonymised) form for the statistical evaluation once it is longer technically required to access the website.

The aforementioned automatically transmitted data is exclusively recorded and evaluated to correctly and optimally present the offered information and for the purposes of statistical evaluations. It is not possible for us to allocate the data automatically transferred to the server to certain natural persons, e.g. it is fundamentally not possible to identify you directly using the automatically transmitted data. However, we would like to point out that it is theoretically possible to ascertain the owner of the Internet connection via which you access our website using the transmitted IP address with the involvement of your Internet access provider over a certain period of time. You can gain information from your Internet access provider concerning the duration for which your Internet access provider saves used and allocated IP addresses.

We collect statistical information to evaluate and continuously improve our website. These are e.g. number of visitors, page views, where the visitors come from, browser type, access date and time, and similar data. This information has no personal reference.

We only collect personal data on the Internet in areas where it is clearly indicated how e.g. material requisition and you thus voluntarily decide to input the data at this point. This data is then saved and processed by contractually bound IT partners in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations.

It is not passed on to third parties, not even as an extract.

Our website can generally be used without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (such as name, address or e-mail address) is collected on our website, this always takes place on a voluntary basis and with your consent/agreement. This data is also not passed on to third parties without your express agreement.

We wish to point out that data transfer over the Internet (such as communication by e-mail) can be subject to security vulnerabilities. It is not possible to completely protect data from being accessed by third parties.

The use of our contact details, published in accordance with the German legal requirements to provide a legal notice, by third parties to send advertising and information materials not explicitly requested is hereby expressly prohibited. The site operators expressly retain the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of promotional information, for instance through spam e-mails.

a) Contact form
You have the possibility of contacting us via the stated e-mail address. The provision of your personal data there is naturally voluntary. The personal data transmitted by you in this connection is exclusively used to process your enquiry where you have not separately agreed to any usage beyond this.

b) Transmission to third parties
Personal data transmitted when using our website is only shared with third parties while taking into account the strict requirements of the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz), namely if you have previously consented to the sharing of the data, we are entitled to do this based on legal regulations and/or we are obliged to share the data based on a law, a regulation, or official or judicial order. Data is not generally passed on to third parties for the purpose of advertising.

c) Information, rectification, blocking, erasure
You have the right to request free information from us concerning the personal data saved about you, the recipients or categories of recipient to whom this data is sent, and the purpose of saving the data. Furthermore, where applicable, you also have a right to rectification, blocking or erasure of personal data under the legal requirements. You can find contact information in our legal notice.

Cookies, tracking tools, social plugins

a) Cookies
What are known as “cookies” are used on our website, e.g. for a user analysis, to save the selected language or to improve the user experience. Cookies are small text files which are stored on your computer for the duration of a browser session. After the browser session, the cookies we use are deleted again (called session cookies). These simplify and accelerate the controlling of your visit on our website. If you do not want cookies to be used on your computer by our website, you can deactivate the cookies in your browser settings and select the browser settings in such a way that you are informed about the use of cookies on a website. However, we would like to point out that this may mean that the functions of our website can no longer be used in full.

This website also uses cookies for dialogue support. For certain dialogues that are established over several pages, this aid is necessary for the process as this is the only way of going back during the current session. These cookies are automatically deleted again by the Internet user’s PC when leaving this website. The use of cookies for dialogue support is thus in your interest.
We also use a cookie as part of our disclaimer for accessing protected pages of our website (e.g. on the websites of real estate funds), which is saved after you confirm the disclaimer by selecting the checkbox and clicking on the “confirm” button and which enables you to navigate within protected pages. This cookie is automatically deleted again when the browser window is closed.

b) Google Analytics
When you visit our website, we transfer data to our service provider Google Inc. within the Google Analytics solution. Google Analytics is configured in such a way that your IP address is sent to Google in an anonymised form (anonymizeIP). Google processes your usage data on our website on our behalf in order to compile website activities in the form of reports. We use these reports to measure your interest in our services and to improve these.

If you do not want any tracking by Google, you can install a browser add-on to prevent tracking by Google Analytics.

Further information
Google is committed to abide by the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-US Privacy Shield Framework published by the U.S. Department of Commerce concerning the collection, use and saving of personal data from the Member States of the EU and Switzerland. You can find more information here.

c) Social plugins
Our website uses plugins from social networks (Twitter, Facebook, etc.). Every time a website on our Internet presence that features one of these plugins is accessed, the plugin causes the browser you are using to load and show the visual depiction of the plugin from the server of the social network. As part of this, the social network server is informed which particular website of our Internet presence you are currently visiting and other data such as your IP address is transmitted.

In order to ensure a suitable data protection standard for our website, we have thus initially deactivated the plugins with associated buttons and activated a brief data protection notice to appear first.

We have no influence on the scope of data that the social network collects using this plugin. Please obtain information from the data privacy notices of the respective social network (e.g. Twitter, Facebook, and similar).

If you are not satisfied with the data protection measures shown here or still have questions concerning the collection, processing and/or use of your personal data, we would be delighted to hear from you. We will strive to answer your questions as soon as possible and implement your suggestions. Please get in touch with us at datenschutz[at]deutsche-finance[dot]de.

The information collected by the cookie on your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the US and stored there. If IP anonymisation is activated on this website, Google will truncate your IP address within Member States of the European Union or in other countries that are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Only in exceptional cases will the entire address be transmitted to a Google server in the US and truncated there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing the website operator with other services relating to website activity and Internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the context of Google Analytics will not be associated with any other data held by Google.

Google AdSense uses what are known as web beacons (invisible graphics). These web beacons allow information such as visitor traffic to be evaluated on these pages.

The information about the use of this website (including your IP address) and the delivery of the advertising formats collected via cookies and web beacons is transferred to a server belonging to Google in the USA and stored there. This information can be passed on by Google to contractual partners of Google. However, Google will not combine your IP address with other data saved about you.

By using our website, you declare yourself to be in agreement with Google processing data about you in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

Data protection statement for the use of Google +1

Recording and sharing of information:

You can publish information worldwide using the Google +1 button. Using the Google +1 button, you and other users receive personalised content from Google and our partners. Google saves the information that you have given content +1 as well as information about the page that you have viewed when clicking on +1. Your +1s can be viewed together with your profile name and your photo in Google services, such as in search results or in your Google profile, and in other places on websites and advertisements on the Internet.

Google records information about your +1 activities in order to improve Google services for you and others. In order to use the Google +1 button, you need a globally visible, public Google profile that must at least include the name chosen for the profile. This name is used in all Google services. In some cases, this name can also replace another name that you have used when sharing content via your Google account. The identity of your Google profile can be displayed to users who know your e-mail address or have other identifying information about you.

Use of collected information:

Besides the purposes of use mentioned above, the information provided by you is used according to the applicable Google data protection regulations. Google may publish summarised statistics about the +1 activities of users and pass these on to users and partners, such as publishers, advertisers or associated websites.

This enables Facebook to allocate the visit to our website to your user account. We would like to indicate that, as the provider of the website, we have no knowledge of the content of the data transferred, nor do we know how it is used by Facebook. Further information on this can be found in the Facebook Data Use Policy at
